I have not had an experience with this clinic but i have had an experience with Dr Turan Asan, and the fact hes employed here means Tower clinics have not done any kind of checks. So dont come here!! he should be in prison. check out my review for the newsome centre in seacroft, the doctor mentioned is him.He made a deliberate effort to distress patients by only allowing evaluations in a large group of 8-12 people whom will talk about me/the patient in the 3rd person to dehumanise and cause sensory issues for the vulnerable person /me going through the psychiatric evolution. I was a detained patient in the Newsome in 2019. Doctor ASAN was the responsible clinician. At the time i had an ADHD shared care agreement with Harley therapy/Dr s Humpries, and my NHS GP for ADHD medication. This agreement had been in place since 2012. His explanation for total ward absence for objectivities sake made no sense. but it was putting him in a position to be selective on information used. His reports had the observations, and opinions of staff/family, were written in the first person perspective to give the reader the impression he made the observation himself, and not permanently absent from the ward. After being detained for a week under Dr ASANs "care", with no contact from, him at all I was summoned to the once weekly consultation, with Dr ASAN, with 8 staff nurses/assistants. also present to discuss me. It was overwhelming before anybody spoke. This takes place off the ward in order to facilitate his total absence, making the patient dependent on staff escourt to both enter and exit the meeting. He then claimed over the week i was detained, that i had delusional thoughts and that i never had ADHD and all obersved symptoms are that of mania, and that he had made the decision to permanently withdraw the ADHD medication. He even went as far as saying Dr Humpries was bribed by myself to fix an ADHD diagnosis to obtain stimulants for recreational purposes. Terrified at the prospect of withdrawal i began to shake and fidget, under the pressure, and then he told the rest of the group that this was manic impulses, and that i was in an elated mood attempting to mimic disstress. which was terrifying. At that point both my parents walked into the meeting room by surprise. Dr ASAN had contacted them without my knowlege and invited them making the moment they walked in, a moment of sheer shock. Planned deliberately just to get a distressed reaction from me, to portray mainia as relations were strained. At which point under sheer stress and alarm i had panic attack which was then also deliberately missread to mania mood swing. My yvanse withdrawal symptoms were also deliberately missread to be that of mania mood issues. I refused to be escorted off the ward for further meetings, unless he consulted in private on the ward or allowed a second opinion, and i didnt see any doctor for the next 3 weeks. In response to the above he then also withdrew my anti depressent(flouroxitine) without consultation so I was experiencing the simultaneous life threatening, SSRI and amphetamine withdrawal. the worst thing i ever experienced. I eventually agreed to a group evaluation weeks later, to end the section. but i was psychologically broken by that point. Which was his objective. A desperate broken patient more agreeable to suggestion. he also had regular contact with my parents against my wishes and knowledge,knowing there opinion was biased as they didnt believe ADHD existed, and he nurtured belief by saying i bribed a private doctor. ADHD has now been diagnosed by the NHS, and his opinion is now proven wrong but i had no quality of life until then 2 yrs after discharge. as i could not resume the private agreement thanks to dr asans opinion. Also Dr asans med treatment(risperadone, lamatragene) gave me tardive dyskinesia with the following 2 years being in a constant twitching state. Broken and feeling low but suspended in a state of twitch agony. unable to relax sit still or read more than a paragraph/watch 10 mins TV without a break. Hes a monster!! More...

I cannot praise the Clinic and staff highly enough. I use the rooms at the Clinic for my Hypnotherapy/children's therapy sessions. Needed to find an independent clinic that dealt with post-op bariatric adjustments and came across the Tower Clinic after searching the internet. Telephoned them to explain my predicament - ever so friendly and helpful resulting in appointment being booked. Attended today (05.06.23) to see the bariatric nurse - she was absolutely fab - despite the fact that I had to have my band adjusted three times whilst there! What do you love most about your job?
The most rewarding aspect is helping people overcome issues that have profoundly affected them long-term, whether they be physical, emotional, or a combination of chronic problems, and to empower clients to help themselves along their own healing journey.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to develop my own practice and be free explore styles of acupuncture, according to patients’ individual needs, whether these be traditional Chinese or Japanese acupuncture, more modern techniques like electro, ear, scalp, abdominal, or medical acupuncture, or other modalities like cupping, gua sha, moxa, qigong, or massage.

I always aim to tailor treatments to the individual, to create an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect, to find balance between professionalism and friendliness, and to approach every new client with sincerity, openness, and honesty.
