I am a cheery, upbeat wedding celebrant offering bespoke wedding ceremonies in Kent/SE and beyond. I’m relaxed and try to provide a bit of zen to what can be a pretty stressful time!

People still talk about our wedding ceremony last November - Kath’s energy and charm made her a hit with our guests and with us! Highly recommend booking her for any celebration. More...

From start to finish Kath put us at ease and had loads of ideas of how to make our ceremony stand out, just like we wanted. Our guests loved our ceremony and we had loads of positive comments! More...

Kath was a joy to work with and made our ceremony so personal, full of love and wit. She told our story perfectly! A gem through and through.
What do you love most about your job?
Spreading the love! This job is absolute joy, what’s not to love?!
I also really like getting to know people, their stories, interests, what makes them tick. I’m a people person through and through so being a celebrant really ticks that social box!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was a teacher for 15 years, then became a mum and got a new job in research. Something was missing from my professional life and I realised that it was the human interaction and ‘performance’ aspect, which disappeared when I left teaching. Having conducted numerous ceremonies for friends and relatives, I realised that celebrancy would be a fantastic way to pursue my love of people, speaking and spreading joy and fun!
Why should our clients choose you?
I hate tooting my own horn so this bit is cringe!! But in the interests of forced self promotion: I am a nice person and people tell me I am both funny and fun to be around. I love writing, do it well and can craft a kick-ass ceremony that people really remember (for the right reasons!) I’m easy going, open minded and can turn my hand to most things. I also LOVE animals and would happily involve them in any ceremony!
Teacher voice is optional but it has been known to help keep things ticking along smoothly haha!
The best approach, tbh, is arrange a call, see if we click and go from there. I love a chat, so feel free to get in touch!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, discovery calls and follow up meetings can be fully remote. Alternatively, I live in Bexley (SE London) but can travel within reason. My ageing Tiguan gets me around no probs ?
Wedding/commitment/vow renewal ceremony
Put simply: we make friends.
This shebang turns into a bit of a 3-way relationship for the purpose of crafting a bespoke ceremony which is all about YOU. We will meet a few times – I like drinks, dinners, coffees! I am also content with Zoom if that’s your bag! Either way, we will get to know each other 😊 I’ll need to know what makes you tick, what you love about each other, where you see your future headed. Funny quirks, pets (animal nut right here!), best memories, jobs, holidays, hobbies, that time when you dove into a bush after a TT concert and lost both your shoes (ahem…). ALL of that stuff. And some other stuff too: your hopes for the future, your values and beliefs, your family and friends. I’ll share some ideas for other things to include in your ceremony, you share yours and together, we construct your ceremony.
Our triangle relationship will be my priority as I write your ceremony in the months leading up to the big day! Hit me up if you’re getting stressed, I’m always down for a calm-down Espresso Martini. You’ll get the opportunity to read the script beforehand and tweak any bits you want to. By the time your wedding rolls around, it will be as if a friend is conducting it. THAT is how we do it. I am, literally, here for you!
