What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Besides the knowledge of composition and camera settings, the main thing is to have laughter and movement in your shoots. Authentic emotion makes for the best photos!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I have made a questionnaire and guide to send out to clients on booking. These will suggest options for locations, posing and outifts. However any personal details of your couple/ family make all the difference for a great shoot
What do you love most about your job?
I genuinely love peoples reactions when they see their images. I’m blessed to be good at something I love doing and taking photos of special moments that will last a lifetime
What inspired you to start your own business?
I used to work in a photography studio, but I disliked how little creative control I had and also how much clients would be pressured into paying for their photos. For me it took the love and authenticity out of photography, which should be a beautiful thing!
Why should our clients choose you?
Although I have the technical knowledge from my BA Honors Photography degree, as well as experince working with clients in and out of the studio. The main reason would be that I love my job and give it my all! A photographer / client relationship is important if you want genuine photos with real emotion. I make it my goal to make each shoot as personal as possible- the more information you can give me, the better!
