Nearly finished my first block with Jon. I have enjoyed working with him. He's very friendly, very knowledgeable and passionate about helping others achieve their goal.
I've lost 20kg over the course of my block. I feel healthier, leaner and have lost very little strength.
When I came to Jon I had been working out 3-4 days a week with more of a power lifting focus. I had no interest in pressing further with that type of focus and wanted to lose weight and look more aesthetic. Over the past 12 months Jonny has helped me to achieve my goal of a body fat % of under 20% and a loss of 9kg in weight, without having to painfully restrict my diet. Being pretty naive to strength training when I started, I can now bench press almost 80% of my body weight and am alot more confident working out at home with my own equipment in between my sessions with Jonny. I’ve been going to Jonathan for 4 months and I really can’t believe how much of a difference he has made to my physical and mental health.
I’ve started going to the gym by myself and working out at home. Exercising has become part of my weekly routine. My sessions with Jonathan I leave feeling stronger and more confident. I have been going to Jonathan for 9 months now and I would highly recommend him.
He has listened to what I want to achieve and guided me in the direction I need to go.
Since I have been going to Jonathan, he has helped me boost my confidence to the point I am to go to the gym by myself and I have even signed up to do the Banchory Beast this year (2024) with his help.
He has pushed further to try to things and push myself out of my comfort zone with exercises and I am now able to achieve 120kg on squats which I wouldn’t of be able to do without his motivation and keen spirt along the journey.
Jonathan also assist with nutrition by advising different ways to manage my nutrition and even giving out recipes. With his advice I have been able to change my eating habits without sacrificing the treats.

My sessions with Johnathan have become a part of my week that I look forward to. This has even encouraged me to start exercising at home by copying (to the best of my ability) what I have done in my sessions with him.
Johnathan has been very encouraging from the moment go and celebrates my successes as I develop as person who is very new to using gym equipment.
His approach to teaching is fantastic and he constantly asks you questions to make sure that you are doing exercises properly and safely. He also gives really detailed demos for each excise ensuring that you are set up for success and that you are safe. His home gym is a great space to build confidence before stepping into commercial gym.

Jonathan is an outstanding PT. His approach is incredibly supportive and he invests time in development of your fitness beyond each session, with regular check-in’s and ongoing encouragement.
Jonathan set out objectives each week and every session is well planned. His gym (setup at his home) is excellent and avoids having to pay expensive club memberships.
Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to build on their fitness or develop further.

Helped me with my nutrition as well as my training. I hadn’t lifted before and was more focused on cardio and weight loss.
Now I feel better, fitter, stronger and I have lost 10kg over the last 3 months.
I would highly recommend him - very honest and told me at the start when I wanted to run that he was not the person to help with that. Just do the taster at least and get a feel for it - even that single session was great value.

I firmly believe that:
1. You should follow a nutrition plan you can sustain for the LONG TERM
2. You should choose exercise that you ENJOY
I help with exercise programming, nutrition, motivation and accountability however I firmly believe that helping you build a health routine that fits in to your life is the most valuable thing I could ever do.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Boring answer - give yourself enough time and lift weights!
You can get a great result in 8 weeks but you will have to make A LOT of sacrifices both in terms of time exercising and food choices.
Imagine what you could achieve if you gave yourself 12 weeks or 6 months….or a year….
What do you love most about your job?
Its a cliche but helping people with their health and fitness and seeing their improvements is the main motivator for me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The main motivation to set up myself was to set my own schedule, help the people I want to help (mainly adults looking to be fit in to their forties) and ensure I could get the best results for my clients.
