I have a Cotswold stone kitchen floor that hadn't been laid very well. Tony and his son-in-law cleaned the surface of what turned out to be the wrong finish and repaired grouting that had cracked.
One slab had cracked into several pieces. They glued them together and laid it and several other slabs properly. This was April 2023. I paid the invoice within a couple of days.
After a few months one of the slabs started to crack and chip around the edges. This sort of building work should carry a tradesman's guarantee but when I called Tony he announced he had retired. He said he could arrange for someone else to repair the floor, but nothing came of it. For a month or so I would contact him, he would leave a message but when I called back he didn't answer.
He obviously knows his stuff, but has little sense of responsibility.

Not at all reliable.
After a phone conversation and deciding the date and time for the requested service got an e-mail cancelling the job, “Covid related”.
The e-mail was sent 10 minutes after the decided time to start de cleaning job.
Extremely inconvenient especially when a lot of changes in the personal schedule was involved. While I understand special circumstances the lack of communication, transparency and customer care are unacceptable
This type of last minute cancellation, transparency, professionalism, customer service and respect for a potential long term customer make Johnston Cleaning a “not to go” choice if you are looking for a reliable service.

Hello yes I did unfortunately had to cancel due to the mother and daughter had tested positive for covid and I cannot send staff to anyone's home but I did offer a visit discounted on Wednesday I take my staff and customer health and safety first as we insist All members of our team take a covid test at the start of the week normal a Sunday evening I hope this explains the situation
