What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Expression and impact. In order to take a great image you new to be able to see and anticipate what is happening around you. Capturing people at their best or a scene which is stunning requires you to be alert and patient.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Always, 'What do you want from this session?' 'What sort of images do you want and how do you want to be seen in those images?' The needs are the customer are paramount, after all it is they who are hiring you to provide a service.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the reactions and expressions on customers faces when they first see their pictures. It makes all the stress of the day and the many hours of editing all worthwhile.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I enjoy being around people, and I enjoy art and photography. My business is the perfect combination of the two.
Why should our clients choose you?
I put them first. It is their wedding and their wants and needs come first. The images I produce are what they are going to see for years to come and they need to be images that they are happy with and will bring back fond memories. I keep my fee's as low as I can by keeping my own overheads low. I want my couples to remember me for my friendly manner and my photographs, not for the large bill they had to pay.
