Joel is one of the best teachers I have met and a great musician! He combines an ability to articulate the theoretical aspects with the patience and good humour to develop what in my case are basic guitar skills. As a sometimes impatient pupil he manages to direct my learning in an unobtrusive way but one which works well in developing my knowledge and understanding.His patience is amazing and thanks to him I do feel that I have developed in a way that would never have happened trying to do it on my own. I’d like to thank Joel for all his teaching and support. He’s a consummate professional musician with enormous skill and experience both in practice and on a theoretical level. Even though he works at such an advanced level it is a testimony to his highly developed teaching ability that he is able to communicate to students of all abilities in a way that is optimal for them I know this not only from my own personal experience, but also from conversations with other of his students who are at different levels and stages in their journeys. Coupled with infinite patience and empathy, it makes for a fantastic learning experience. Again can’t thank Joel enough for his time patience and invaluable tuition.
