About
As a Personal Performance and Life Coach, I support clients as they positively move forward with their lives. I encourage clients to reflect on what really matters to them, help raise their awareness of their situation, their skills and strengths, but also enable them to take responsibility for the development of an action plan, allowing them to move forward and realise their goals and dreams.
I strongly believe in being genuinely curious, empathetic, and honest. My realistic, but importantly, non-judgemental approach in coaching, allows me to develop good rapport with clients and together we can build the strong trusting relationships required for successful coaching partnerships.
I coach individuals with a variety of personal goals:
Personal Development: helping those with general Life issues identify what they want to achieve, the skills and resources they already have, and then support them as they move forward and make those positive changes.
Careers: defining a career path post sport, education, or returning to work after a break. I enable clients to identify skills, resources, passions and key stakeholders, before exploring priorities and strategies to secure jobs in their chosen areas.
Health and Wellbeing: including re-entering the workplace, menopausal issues, confidence, weight loss and exercise. We explore challenges, values and limiting beliefs, helping reframe negativity and go on to develop an action plan for clients to work towards their goals.
Elite Athletes: dealing with the demands of elite sport, combining elite sport and further education or work. We work on purpose, priorities and strategies moving forward. Successfully helping athletes develop better organisational skills to improve all round performance, resilience, mindset, together with good mental health and wellbeing.
Further Education: helping students manage the requirements of Undergraduate and Post Graduate Degree programs, learn to prioritise, develop time management skills and a plan for success, whilst also addressing general wellbeing.
Coaching Presence:
My core values are integrity, authenticity, curiosity and kindness. My coaching approach also focuses on empathy, active listening, and the creation of a non-judgmental, safe and confidential environment.
This safe space, allows my clients to freely express their concerns and aspirations, explore and reflect on their thoughts, feelings and life experiences and then go on to make an action plan of the changes they desire, in their own highly individual way.
Coaching Sessions:
Coaching is a partnership, whereby I listen a lot, and our conversations allow clients the time to think and process information. This alone is very powerful and can have profound benefits for clients.
Sometimes reflective exercises are useful to help identify a clients skills and strengths, weaknesses and opportunities and how to make the most of them. Personality Profiling is also a fascinating exercise to help us better understand ourselves and others. However, use of such exercises, including those involving Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), will always be discussed and agreed with clients beforehand.
Coaching Sessions with myself are usually 1 hour in length, delivered virtually via Zoom, MS Teams, or another video platform of the client’s choice.
The number of sessions is very much dependent upon the topic and on the client’s requirements. I typically offer a free introductory session to explore the clients coaching requirements, but also to make sure we are both comfortable working together. We can then agree together on the best approach going forward, whether this is a one-off session for £70, or a series of 4-8 sessions (discounted) at weekly, or fortnightly intervals.
