We’ve just moved to the area from 240 miles away so needed to find a reliable and caring person to walk our 2&1/2 year old lab and also let our 17 year old lab out for a loo break and a little leg stretch when work commitments mean we’re out for longer than usual. Jayne is perfect, she is accommodating and takes time to match dogs with similar needs / complementing traits on walks so that they all get the most out of it. Jayne is a totally dog centred, experienced doggy person who goes the extra mile ( pun intended!) to help even those dogs that other dog walker would fear to tread with!
What do you love most about your job?
One thing that I love and look forward to doing within my job is meeting and greeting potential new furry (or non-furry!) customers.
I love making a positive difference to their day as I have an embedded passion for the welfare of animals.
In addition I LOVE the warm welcome I receive when I greet the animals I care for. I believe there is no better feeling for me than that.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was already walking and looking after other peoples pets as a hobby and knew it was something I always loved to do. When looking at different paths I could take in my career (after nursing for nearly 30 years) I decided to make positive and significant change and get myself professionally qualified in pet care in order to do what I love to do.
Why should our clients choose you?
I always give 110% of my time, care and effort to your pets. I always treat the animals as if they were my own and my number one priority is to make sure both the owners and animals are happy. The owners should feel that they can completely trust me to look after their pets, knowing that their pets are in safe hands. The pets should look forward to the visits in the day knowing that they will receive lots of love and attention!
Dog Walking
If you require my dog walking services you will be treating your dog to a walk that lasts a MINIMUM of 30 minutes and will experience different places everyday of the week such as: South Down Walks, Multiple National Trust walks incl. Slindon; The Barlavington Estate and Barlavinton Common; Halnacker Windmill; Midhurst; Petworth; Highdown in Worthing and a variety of beaches such as Climping and West Witering. These are some of the places your dog may experience and explore.
Home Visits
I would be delighted to visit your pet if they need some company at home, I can feed and ensure that your pet is happy and safe in their own environment Please Note: I can do overnight pet sitting for your pet but not for holidays but i am happy to visit daily for cats and dogs that need some company during the day dog walking is extra on top of the visit charge.
Home Overnight Sleepovers
I am very happy to do a sleepover with your pet if you happen to be away overnight. My hours for this service is between 7pm and 6am - During this time, you can ensure that your pet will be fed and watered as required and let out whilst being given loving company. I am happy to offer evening dog walks with this service with the addition of my dog walking charges.
Animals I am comfortable tending for: Dogs (All Breeds), Cats (All Breeds) and am comfortable with small pets.
Cat sitting
My cat sitting servise offers either a thirty minute visit or a one hour visit at the cats home ,for company cuddles and playtime ,i will also feed and put down fresh water and change the cat liter tray, for the long haired cats i will also give them a brush in the time booked.
