CCTV Installation
Home security camera installation service at Janus Security Services will run all cables from the cameras to the recording unit ensuring wiring is hidden where possible, make all low voltage electrical and video connections and make sure that the cameras are aimed, focused and adjusted properly. A standard installation is undertaken by 1 or 2 man installation team on a domestic dwelling up to two stories in height using a standard 2 section ladder for access to the camera mounting positions.
Our Professional CCTV installers will ensure that:
- cables are run in the most discreet way from recording unit to cameras
- security cameras are installed and aligned perfectly. The security camera mounting positions will be governed by available viewing angles and safe ladder access. It is essential that your cameras are covering the areas that you need covered and there are no blind spots or bad reflections. Professional CCTV installation technicians at Janus Security will ensure that this is the case.
-All wall entry holes will be properly sealed against the elements using silicon sealant and appropriate internal / external weather covers. This includes all cable clips, cable tape and sealant as standard.
- Remote viewing is set up on your smart phone to monitor all of your security cameras. This will facilitate the need for portable viewing device with adequate data services enabled for remote monitoring.
- A final assessment of camera views will be carried out to confirm that the new service is operational to agreed levels following the CCTV system installation, and the results shown to the Customer.

A maintenance package for CCTV systems is a service plan that ensures your surveillance equipment remains fully operational and efficient through regular inspections, cleaning, and technical support.
