We, of course, had the obligatory posed photos to appease the Mum’s, but Jan’s skill lies in the documentary style that we wanted for our later in life casual wedding. She has honestly captured personalities and treasured moments that would never have come across with a more traditional approach. She worked like a little worker bee to produce pictures that captured the look and feel we were going for. Jan was amazing! Communication leading up to the day was fantastic and she was incredibly helpful in answering our questions. As people who don’t like having their photo taken we both found the thought of having them taken on the day very daunting but Jan made us feel so comfortable and really put us at ease. She captured our small ceremony beautifully, the photos were all that I had hoped for and more! Our families also commented on how well she blended in, they almost forgot that their pictures were being taken during the ceremony which made for the most beautiful natural photos. We were slightly worried that, with small children, the pictures after the ceremony would take a long time, but Jan worked quickly but efficiently to suit us which was fantastic! I honestly can’t fault Jan, from start to finish she has been fantastic and I am so glad she was a part of our special celebrations. More...
