Needed a lot of strimming done. He came in advance to check and quoted 120.00 for 4 hours PLUS Bark Fee 15.00. He said his equipment was expensive - strimmer was £1000. When he came to do 4 hrs the strimmer he used could not get through established weeds. Plus no insurance, no protective clothing or goggles. £30+ per hour is a professional rate. This guy is not a professional. He also added £5 petrol to the bill. More...

Hi Claire sorry you feel that way. I was very honest and upfront with all my terms before, which you didnt have to accept. And I strimmed through almost double the amount of grass i could have done in the time with an ordinary worse quality strimmer. What i charged for the quantity of long grass strimmed I felt was very reasonable. As for protection i wear eye protection and ear defenders which is more than enough protection for strimming, as someone who has been doing this a long time
