I have been designing interiors for over twenty years with experience in hotels, cruise ships, pubs, care homes and more. My ethos is affordable interiors and I want to dispel the thinking that interior design is only for the wealthy. I can provide help from anything as small as some advice on a paint colour to whole room designs.

What’s your interior design process?
First up I like to send the client a briefing sheet to ask what the key elements of the project are and learn about them. Next I will design an initial mood board to outline my first ideas. All being well I will then produce the full design documents including layouts and detailed specification of all items.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I have designed for all styles and tastes throughout my career.
What do you love most about your job?
Its basically being paid to shop on someone else's behalf but more than that I like to help clients realise their design dreams within their budget.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to find a career I could do that would work around having children and being self employed provides that flexibility.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
During Covid I adapted my services to work remotely and if you can provide detailed photographs and measurements I can do most projects this way.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We can avoid any in person meetings if required and do all our meetings via zoom.
Design consultancy
This can range from advice on choosing paint colours or adding accessories, through to selecting new furniture or curtains.
General property suggestions
If your property needs updates to each room we can compile a list of ideas and suggestion for furniture and lighting etc. You can then action these as and when you wish.
Property sales makeover
Are you struggling to sell your house? Interiors Only can suggest small tweaks that won’t cost the earth that will encourage buyers to view your house and get that sale.
Full design service
The fee will vary according to room size and scope of works, which will be detailed in a letter following the initial briefing meeting. The interior design fee covers the sourcing of fabrics, wallcoverings, flooring etc and acquisition of samples.
At this point you may choose to implement the design yourself. The design materials and details will be supplied to facilitate this.
Alternatively, Interiors Only can offer project management and co-ordinate the contractors for you. These services will be charged at the hourly rate.
Interiors Only can recommend suppliers for all services including soft furnishing, upholstery and curtain-making.
