We had 2 very large fir trees at the end of the garden, standing about 90 ft tall. We were planning to have them taken down to half height, but woke up on the 29th of December to find a large bough collapsed onto the pergola. I phoned David from idoakeood on January 2nd and they gave me 2 estimates, one to make the tree safe and another to remove both trees. I chose the nuclear option. The service they provided was exemplary, arriving on time, completing the work in one day, and leaving the site tidy. I was impressed with their skill and hard work. The job was made difficult by surrounding garden buildings but they managed with very no damage. I can certainly recommed idoakwood

I could not recommend David and his team enough.
The did a sterling job, swiftly and effectively.
Very reasonable in pricing and most of all cleaned up after themselves and even cut some logs for me for the fire burner over Xmas.
Highly recommend.

From the very start I had total confidence in David and the company - he listened to my requirements, made very useful suggestions and frequently checked that I was happy with progress at every stage . He and his colleague worked quickly, carefully and neatly - Two trees were taken down and several pruned or cut back. All waste was removed and the site left clean and tidy. We have employed David on two separate occasions and most recently we asked him to take down one big tree and heavily pruned two more that were depriving us of light in our main living area. This was a difficult job in that access was not easy. David and his team made light work of it and worked efficiently and professionally to complete the job. He even made sure that he left the site in ship shape condition. David is thoroughly professional to deal with and delivers exactly what he says he can do. I left David and he’s team to it when I left for work in the morning. It was not an easy job due to my location on a main road. When I came home from work I could not have been happier when I saw the results! They had done exactly what I had wanted, and better.
