Q&As

Helping my clients to gain more awareness of who they are, the choices they have and the actions they can take.

To make a positive difference to the lives of my clients; however large or small that may be

I treat each session as a meeting between two people rather than between counsellor and client. I'll listen without judgment, helping you to understand yourself, the challenges you face and your relationship with others.

I offer both face to face and remote sessions depending on preference

I offer remote sessions if required and I never see clients face to face if I am feeling unwell

Services

I specialise in Gestalt therapy, which focuses on bringing different aspects of yourself into present awareness. This will help you develop fresh insights into what’s going on for you. Helping you to move from just surviving to living the life you want.

Most people come to counselling because they want to change something about themselves or their lives. I believe that most of us can only change after we first understand who we truly are and how we really feel.

Without this awareness we can get stuck; repeating patterns of behaviour that may have kept us safe in the past but are not helpful now.

We may also try to force ourselves into a mould of how we think we should be. "Shoulds" that are shaped by the expectations of family, friends, work and the culture that we live in. Whilst relationships with others are really important, it's easy to lose sight of what you want from them.
