Jackie is amazing. My two dogs are super hyper and she does amazing with them. Our buster is known for thorn bushes.... way before we met Jackie but she still looks into his welfare everytime even though that's just buster. What do you love most about your job?
I love being out in the fresh air walking the dogs come rain or shine. It’s great getting to know new dogs and having the opportunity to work with breeds I might not have worked with before.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had a very stressful job before and wanted a complete change. Working with dogs and horses was something I’d always wanted to do. I decided to put in for voluntary redundancy and take the leap. I’ve never looked back.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose me because I always care for their dogs like my own and put 100% into everything I do. I go the extra mile and I am flexible and pleasant to deal with. Many of my customers have become friends. I am also on Derbyshire County Council’s Trusted Trader list which means Trading Standards have checked out all my credentials to ensure I am a legitimate business to give new customers peace of mind.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I use my own dog leads and sanitise my hands regularly. When I have Covid I let my customers know so they can make the decision if they still want their dogs walking or not. I collect dogs from the door wearing a mask if they choose to still have a walk for their dogs.
Group dog walks
Group walks are an hour long and run like this depending on factors such as road works and traffic. Timings are approximate.
AM - picked up from 8.45am and dropped off before 11.30am.
NOON - picked up from 10.30am and dropped off before 1.45pm.
PM - picked up from 12.45pm and dropped off before 3.30pm.
