Difficult to answer. An apartment needed a deep clean. Two girls came and were too dreadful for words. I was in the apartment and watched them with amazement. A tiddly cloth and a spray bottle was used (without effect) to clean. I had booked 2 people for 2 hours and when they left the apartment was still filthy. Nothing had been done. Dirty paintwork, blinds, windows and they hadn't even washed the floors. I took photos and sent them to the manager. Another clean was arranged with Eugene and Karen. I told the manager I needed an afternoon appointment so she arranged a morning one! They arrived at 2.15 (late but not their fault) and were there for a half hour appraisal, no cleaning. Why an appraisal when I had taken photos? The manager was unconcerned. I managed to talk a reluctant Karen and Eugene into staying for the 2 hours as I had new tenants moving in. They were fantastic! Every nook and cranny cleaned. Lovely attitude even after being messed about by the office. I won't EVER use Kingsmaid again. A very big thank you to Eugene and Karen. Kelly and Stephanie do a lovely job each week and will do extra bits providing it is the allotted time. It's also great to have the same ladies each week, as they are now used to the house and now know what needs doing. 😀😀FYI for new customers, it did take me a few weeks to get used to the online admin system at Kingsmaid, i.e. logging the areas you want cleaning each week + adding extras but now we are in the swing, the system works well with text and email notifications and billing process. Do Not Use I have used this company before and had deep cleans and they have always been ok. This time I booked 8 hours they did stairs, landings kitchen , bathroom and a bedroom . They did NOT touch living room , dining room , hall , porch , bathroom and toilet. The rooms they deep cleaned were left dirty. I have tried to resolve this with the company but they refuse to refund anything. I am delighted with my cleans! I have been a customer for a while but initially I was unsure about employing a cleaning service, having never had one before. I did lots of research on Google and Facebook and Kingsmaid seemed by far the most reliable and trustworthy- I must have read hundreds of reviews!!!!! whilst the quality was important I also wanted to be sure that the whole service was good. The quality of the cleans is really high An acquaintance then told me that they used Kingsmaid and were very happy with them so I took the plunge and booked. The lady on the phone was lovely and everytime I ring the office ladies are angels! so helpful and friendly. The cleaners are lovely people (the sort of people you would be happy having in your house)I usually have the same cleaners but on occasion I have had different ones (holidays I assume) and they have been equally nice and just get on with the job. My entire experience with Kingsmaid has been a pleasurable one. I live with my son and his wife and they have a regular booking. The office staff are friendly and very helpful.The cleaners arrive as promised, fully equipped to do the tasks requested. The house is a tidy house but they always make such a difference to the way it looks and feels. With 3 adults and 2 under 5's in the house it needs keeping on top of! some people think having a cleaner is a luxury but for us, all working, it allows us valuable free time. You don't have to think about cleaning with Kingsmaid, they know what to do, bring all the stuff they need and just get on with it. A few things that stand out about them are the products are cruelty free, we are animal lovers and this is important to us, the staff are polite and respectful of your things, they seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs which makes a difference. Cleaning is cleaning but its the extra bits that make the difference and make it a good service. More...
