From the moment I first spoke to James on the phone he was beyond helpful, professional and friendly. His photographs really do speak for themselves and he knows how to work with people who aren’t comfortable behind a camera. He made my husband and I not only relax but actually enjoy the experience. He blended into the background when he needed to, and when we got the photos back I was very surprised to see how much he’d moved around without us noticing. James took the photographs for our wedding (6th December 2023) and he was Incredible to work with. He was professional, approachable and friendly and got to know everyone’s names in a short space of time, making everyone feel at ease with his style and manner. The photographs he produced are amazing and have captured our day so beautifully. There are so many natural shots which our guests have reported ‘I didn’t even know he was there for that’ - because he’s simply that good.
We received thumbnails of our photos within a couple of days and received the requested USB about a week after.

As soon as we met him we felt confident that he would provide a professional service and we were not disappointed.

It has to start with wow! James is the ultimate professional, whose warmth and investment in our day made us feel like he was photographing the wedding of close friends or family! He is so friendly and passionate, goes out of his way to seek out great shots and genuinely made us feel he really cared. James did an unbelievably good job with our wedding photos! He did not have much to work with since it was a very small event (and a freezing cold day) but the finished product was lush and looked wonderful. He was actually instrumental in moving the whole day along and blended right in with the family. He was helpful and charming and again, provided just what we were hoping for. I would recommend him to anyone. My parents couldn't make our big day and seeing the photos brought them so much happiness, they said it was like being there. Also we have a small child and he was great with him, too. We all have a couple of shots framed of him from the day! Anyway, I would say, don't think twice about booking James. James was great to work with. Efficient and responsive in advance with good communications. At the event he simply worked the crowd! We wanted informal photography, there were a few people on the 'must have' list and a few 'must have' shots which James made happen. But he also just quietly went about getting fab shots. Good instinct and a lovely manner. Afterwards several guests mentioned that he was great. Our photos came back very quickly and we love them.
