This guy was contracted by plusheat to attend a property and repair a boiler. He called me and was more interested in fitting a new boiler. Told him to fix boiler and he can quote after. After a few days contacted plusheat and was informed this guy had not sent through paperwork. He knew there was a single mum and young children on the premises. It took a week contacting plusheat about this guy and they confirmed he had not bothered getting back. It meant the property had no hot water or heating. Plusheat had to send another engineer out. If he had bothered to do what he was contracted for we would have got him to quote. But because of his carless unreliability we got another company to quote. More...

AVOID THIS WORCESTER BOSCH Gas Boiler Fitter, I was promised a 2 man 3 day exchange & fitting of my new boiler, David worked till 11pm fitting in same day, after he had left the mains water leaked under my boiler & kitchen for 7 days until it was temporary repaired by another company, Caused Major water damage all becuse he didn't do a 2 hour water pressure test as recommended by GAS SAFE & INSTUTE OF PLUMBING AND HEATING ! ! Nice bloke but he rushed the job in a day, his previous job was condemned in Brighton too, I was advised by the emergency plumber it had lots of faults & would of been condemned, my 12 year warranty is void as well!!! cane all the way to isle of wight, only took 3 days to completely remove old electric rads, immersion heater and fit not only a new boiler but also complete new wet rads in every room.
We even had a hive system added. what really surprised me was I expected this to be 9 till 5 job no they worked almost 12 hours on one day then 10 next time, finally last day was 9 till around 4. only thing I say is found a bottle and drink can left in the attic which I'm glad i checked as this could have lead to wasps being attracted, as well as damage to the cases it was hidden between. There was also rubbish left loose outside which couple of times went down the road, husband also found screws left on drive way and we had to dispose of alot of the rubbish. we only asked for rads to be left and old water tank. (this was the last day only other days rubbish was taken away). Its really small thing because the island tips arnt taking anything other than house hold recycling and gardening waste that's it. The benefits tho majorly out way this, he was really knowledgeable, and friendly guy. He even refitted stair gates at end of each day and flooring (we have a 1 year old). I was very impressed with his work I would have no hesitation in recommending him to family and friends as he also gave us a brilliant price. close to 5k others said 6500
(all island firms). finally he did all this from contact to quote to job done in 2 weeks really quick for which I'm very happy we gave him the job we might have paid more but that doesn't mean they done the quality of work he did.

David fitted a new boiler for us and a radiator in our kitchen. He worked tirelessly and efficiently to get the work completed. He did an excellent job, tidying up as he went along. He didn't mind having to lift the floorboards to get to the kitchen, crawling in the small space under the floor to get the pipes in. Brilliant; Dave installed a new boiler and fitted a whole bathroom suite and separate toilet for me. Nothing was to much trouble for him (I can be a little fussy ).
