What’s your interior design process?
I start with a call to discuss your project and any initial questions. Then move on to an initial consultation where we discuss your vision, preferences, and goals for the space in more detail. I go through any design queries you have and provide suggestions, this could for example be a colour consultation where we discuss what colours to paint a room or a layout that you want to change, or it could be preparation for a larger build. That may be enough to get you started, or from there, I can develop a design concept with moodboards and layout options.
Once the concept is finalised, I present it to you for approval, making any necessary revisions before moving forward. Next, I move to the detailed design phase, selecting materials, furnishings, and finishes. You can either have a 'shopping list' or I can manage procurement with access to my trade discounts.
If you opt for full interior design or project management, I will manage the implementation stage where I oversee the project, coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure everything comes together seamlessly. After the installation, I can also style your property.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I don't have a single style, designs are based on your brief, taste, budget and requirements. Previously I have worked on projects that incorporate elements of classic contemporary, elegant, modern, traditional, rustic and modern country.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the creative process of designing a space, from initial ideas and creating concepts to selecting materials and furnishings. Each project presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities, and I like finding solutions, making some iterations as the project unfolds and seeing things through to fruition. I also enjoy collaborating with clients, architects, contractors and other professionals.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Launching my own interior design business was a natural step for me after finishing my interior design studies. Driven by a combination of passion for interiors, desire to work with some lovely clients and the opportunity to build something from the ground up was exciting. Also as a Mum, I wanted to have flexibility and work hours that suit our family.

Yes, an E-Design service is available. Or if you just prefer some services digitally, consultations and meetings can be via zoom, and most communication can be email/calls, with physical sample boxes sent via post.

Virtual consultations are available whenever needed. For meetings you are welcome to wear a mask and hand sanitiser is available.
