Rather than targeting large developers, we like to focus on the opposite end of the spectrum, clients who may not have a wide knowledge base on how construction operates. Yes, we provide most of our architectural services remotely. Our team is well-equipped to collaborate with clients online, offering services such as virtual consultations, design development, 3D modelling, and project reviews. We utilise advanced digital tools to share detailed plans, renderings, and updates, ensuring that you stay informed and engaged throughout the design process, regardless of your location. This allows us to effectively manage projects and maintain clear communication with clients, making the entire process seamless and efficient, even from a distance.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
To ensure the safety of our clients during and after the Covid-19 pandemic, we have implemented several key measures. First, we’ve transitioned most of our meetings and consultations to virtual platforms, reducing the need for in-person contact. When on-site visits are necessary, we sanitise equipment and surfaces regularly. Our team also conducts regular health checks and follows rigorous hygiene protocols. These changes allow us to continue providing our architectural services while prioritising the health and safety of our clients and team members.
Concept Design
Working closely with the client brief, our creative team will explore different design possibilities, taking into consideration your preferences, lifestyle, and the unique features of your property. The goal is to present you with a selection of options that showcase the potential transformations your home can undergo, presented with both 2D drawings and the 3D model. Our aim is to create a proposed design which remains practical and functional, but also innovative and inspirational, something you can be truly proud of.
Our approach is collaborative, and we value your input throughout the conceptual design process. We encourage open communication to understand your preferences, address any concerns, and tailor the concept to suit your unique requirements. Your active involvement ensures that the final design is a true reflection of your vision for your home.
Planning Permission
Once you have selected the perfect concept design, our team will transition from the creative phase to the planning stage. The chosen design becomes the blueprint for the development of a comprehensive package of drawings and information required for a planning application.
The planning package is carefully crafted to meet the specific requirements of your Local Authority, including architectural drawings, site plans, supporting material, and any other documentation necessary to convey the proposed changes to your property.
Once we have finalised the planning pack, and you have given us the go ahead, we will take charge of the planning process. We will liaise with your Local Authority and handle the submission of all necessary documents, ensuring that the application is comprehensive and adheres to all guidelines and regulations set by the planning department.
Acting as the Agent on your behalf, we then will navigate the planning process, taking on responsibility for any questions or requests from the assigned Case Officer. This engagement streamlines the process, addressing any potential concerns swiftly and efficiently. Our goal is to ensure a smooth and transparent interaction with the local authority throughout the application review.
Building Regulations
Our highly experienced team of technical designers will take centre stage during the building regulations process. Using their extensive knowledge and skill, they will transform the approved proposals into a detailed pack of building regulations drawings and specifications ready for a Building Control submission.
The Building Control pack includes architectural details, electrical layouts, plumbing configurations, and any other necessary information. In addition to these construction drawings, a full specification document is prepared, providing a detailed breakdown outlining the materials, methods, and quality standards required for the proposed work. This serves as a vital reference for both Contractors and Building Control Officers, ensuring that the project is executed to the highest standards. This technical package effectively serves as a comprehensive guide for both compliance with building regulations and for Contractors to accurately quote for the project.
