What do you love most about your job?
I absolutely love spending time outdoors with animals and seeing how excited the dogs are when it’s walkies time! Each dog has their own little quirks and personality – no two days are the same, and that’s what makes it so rewarding. There’s nothing better than a wagging tail and a happy pooch at the end of a good stroll!
What inspired you to start your own business?
After years of working with dogs and knowing how important reliable pet care is, I wanted to create a service that I’d trust with my own dog. Hastings Paws was born from a passion for animals and a desire to offer personal, trustworthy, and professional care to local pet owners.

Most of our services are in-person – dogs aren’t great on Zoom! ? That said, we’re always happy to have a chat via phone or video call to discuss your pet’s needs, answer questions, or arrange services.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We continue to follow good hygiene practices, including regular hand sanitising, cleaning leads and equipment, and offering contact-free pick-up and drop-off where requested. The air-conditioned SUV is cleaned regularly to keep both pets and people safe and comfortable.
