I just came back from the two day course in Rhyl, and I am still full of new knowledge and a full heart. This was my second time attending the SWPP Annual Convention and Trade Show - and it did not disappoint. Stellar organization from A to Z ! So many dedicated and hardworking people working to make this a success ! I loved the judging of the print competition (there is honestly so much learning in this, and I see a clear improvement in my work), catching up with vendors and meeting new ones. Kris Anderson's superclass was both fun and interesting; and lastly, but perhaps most importantly, the people. This community is so embracing, and it is a great place to make new friends. Anyone with a camera in hand really should make this a priority to attend. Thank you and see you next year ! More...

This is the most welcoming and inspiring group of talented people I have ever been involved with. I am undergoing the mentor me opportunity which is helping me develop and refine my skills and I have even dipped my toe in the water by entering the monthly and 20x16 print competitions. The recent photography event and trade convention was wonderful and has provided me with inspiration for projects and helped raise my knowledge and understanding across a range of genres. The awards ceremony was high spirited and it was a wonderful experience to see the whole room supporting the finalists and winners.
