What do you love most about your job?
We enjoy drawing and designing, working with our Clients through various stages of their projects to help them realize the potential of their property. We get to meet a wide range of individuals, all with different requirements which keeps the job fresh and exciting.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Up until 2009 i was employed, but i was convinced to start my own firm by a global head of real estate for one of the big 3 banks to help them on a project they had at the Naberezhnaya Tower in Moscow, with follow on projects in Brussels, Paris, London and UAE. This kick started my foray into owning my own business and exposed me to the various challenges of having a practice that serviced multiple global destinations across EMEA, APAC and NA.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes. We service the entire UK and Ireland and the vast majority of our customers use our services remotely and haven't actually met us in person. We communicate regularly via email, phone, message and sometimes via video conferencing.
By providing a remote service we greatly reduce the overall cost, but do also offer site visits at an optional cost, which varies depending on it's geographical location.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Remote working is the key! We urge our customers to take ownership of some of the surveying tasks by giving them access to remote room scanning and remote LiDAR scanning tools. When we do attend site visits we let our customers decide how to work through the site, letting them dictate how we engage with them on the day.
Planning Permission
We will work with you to understand if your project requires planning permission or not. If your project doesn't meet the requirements for Permitted Development or if you already have submitted a Pre-Application which has been approved, we will work through a Full Planning application on your behalf acting as your agent.
Building Control
Your project will either have approved planning or meet the requirements for permitted development. The work required depends on the status of your project, with permitted developments requiring a design stage. We produce all the necessary documentation required for your Full Plans Submission, Building Control application, acting as your agent.
Construction / Working Drawings
Construction drawings are vital if you intend to engage a builder, developer or sub-contractor(s) on your project.
Providing detailed information to your contractors will minimize risk and provide greater financial certainty, ensuring prices received are more aligned with your actual project requirements and budget.
Construction drawings are also very useful if you're intending to self-build. We can provide full suite of construction drawings, however if needed we can work on specific trades elements where requested.
Cost Management
Our cost management services cover multiple stages from initial budget development to tendering and change management. We can help you throughout the process.
Independent Inspections & Surveys
Builders and Tradesman typically work on a staged payment basis, which means you will need to pay them at pre-determined stages of a project.
Knowing when to pay and if a stage has been completed, and to a certain standard, can at times be confusing. To help with this we offer a range of independent inspection services, which depending on geographical location start at £50 and raise to a maximum of £250 per inspection.
