I have a diploma in matt based pilates and have been teaching the fundamentals of Pilates for 16 years... Makes me feel old! I hold a national qualification and belong to Reps, the national regulating body for exercise professionals, I have a valid anatomy and physiology qualification. Basically all my training is up to date.
I like to understand a clients needs and abilities before working directly with them and therefore I like to have a 'human' conversation to establish a good starting place and an end goal. I use Smart targets and implement the use of other tools to help clients address emotional 'walls' they may experience to exercise or general health. I am a trained practitioner in GP referral and prioritise safe working practices and how best to look after clients but to provide the right environment for people to maximise their potential. I am qualified to work with people who experience a number of health conditions including diabetics, asthmatics and people suffering with heart conditions. I would love to hear from anyone wishing to address their health and more than happy to give support and advice.
