I am an integrative counsellor, which means that I am able to draw on a number of therapeutic approaches in order to tailor therapy to what is most effective and appropriate to you. Essentially, however, my approach is very much person-centred, working with what you, the client, brings to the counselling sessions. My initial focus is on building a strong and trusting relationship with you, by offering a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space within which to explore what might be keeping you stuck and supporting you in finding ways to move forward.

I offer both short- and long-term counselling to adults struggling with issues such as: Abuse, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Loss, Personal development, Relationships, Self-esteem, Shame, Stress, Trauma and Work related issues. I have experience of working with a variety of clients, including older adults and those with, or affected by, life-limiting illnesses or conditions. I also have a specific interest and experience in working with perinatal issues: infertility and assisted conception, pre- and post-natal depression, pregnancy, miscarriage and parenthood.

I am a registered member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA) and as such, am bound to work within their respective ethical framework and guidelines.
