Martin was extremely responsive, contacting me within only a few minutes of me posting my request and arriving with his team and all their impressive equipment at my property only a few hours later!
Although I initially only wanted my large tree to be reduced in size, Martin immediately diagnosed that my tree was diseased and in fact dying, which he conclusively demonstrated to me. As a result we negotiated a fair price for the complete removal of the tree, which his team did then and there.
The work was done very quickly and professionally and they completely tidied up after themselves with no debris falling into a neighboring garden, which the tree had over hung.
I can't imagine how this could have gone any better and so I am very pleased with this service and would definitely use R&M Tree & Gardens in future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other potential customers. More...

Quick to respond and was keen to start the job of giving my mixed hedge it's annual cut of straight sides and top. Agreed a price and stupidly paid as I had to go out and leave him to it. I have never had such a badly cut hedge. If I could leave photos I would. Neither the top or sides were level or even neat. It still needs another go. Did a good job removing couple of trees and conifers.

They were prompt in replying and in actual fact came the same day. They gave me a quote for what I wanted doing and, in agreeing to the price, they did the job the same day. There is more work I need doing in the garden and I will ask them to come back with another quote. More...

My job was done to the highest standard. I had 4 men working flat out from the time they arrived. The work was carried out with state-of-the-art cutting equipment. I was very impressed with all the work undertaken in a friendly polite manner. Nothing was to much. I would highly recommend and you won't find many to do such a big job for the price.

Quick to respond to ad, brilliant to deal with, has done a great job the very next day.

We started of with one small bush at £150, when that was removed they then claimed that the Fir next to it was full of disease and should be removed, another £100, we asked them to remove the root, they said they couldn't, my wife wanted to have the tree in the back garden trimmed, another £200, then the problems started, Branches that where cut of landed on my shed damaging it, they made an attempt at repair, after they left it was agreed that they would come back and put paving stones where the Bush in the front of the property. Needles to say we never saw them again. When We checked the damage, I had to make good myself, I also discovered that the weather vain on the shed roof was cracked, as it was made of a cast alloy as soon as I touched it it broke. later that day my neighbour at the rear of the property called to me over the fence, a load, and I mean a load of trimmed branches had fallen into his garden, he was not best pleased, we cleared it up and and he was happy, I was not best pleased, I chopped up the branches which I then had to get rid of. The issue I have with then is that they did not have the decency to tell me what they had done. Now I know why they did not come back. and finish the work they promised.
