Being relaxed, prepared for everything and understanding how to use the light to create the desired shot

What is the end goal i.e what are the shots to be used for, when and for how long do you need photographer, what are your expectations in terms of the number of photographs and style of images, candid or formal etc you would like and what is your budget.

It has been a burning desire for many years but covid and lockdown made my mind up to take a change in direction

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am fully jabbed, wear a mask where required and regularly clean my equipment and hands.
General Photography
As a photographer of 40 + years I can apply my knowledge to most areas, be it a Wedding, a Party, a headshot or anything in between. I am fully insured for both public and professional liability and a qualified member of both the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS) and The Guild of Professional Photographers (QGPP) & member of The British Institute of Professional Photographers.
I am a friendly and easy going person who just loves photography so you wont find me fussing all the time, I prefer to just blend in and capture those moments others might miss.
Event Photography
As an events photographer, my goal is to capture the spirit and feeling of an event, transforming moments in time into lasting memories.
My approach to each event is taken with a keen eye, not only looking for those big moments but also the intimate and candid moments that tell the deeper storey. Whether it’s the laughter shared between friends, the emotion of a speech, or the joy of an unposed interaction, I strive to capture the unique atmosphere of each event.
My intent is to provide each client with an authentic visual narrative, documenting each event as it happens naturally and in an unobtrusive manner that reflects the true spirit of the event.
Through thoughtful composition, and careful timing, I aim to deliver a collection of images that feel personal, timeless, and representative of the event's mood.
I am committed to being discreet and unobtrusive yet present, working seamlessly with the flow of an event to capture things as they happen and aim to ensure each client can relive the event through the images that can be cherished for years to come.
I take great pride in being entrusted with such precious memories and will always aim to exceed expectations with professionalism, creativity, and a genuine passion for storytelling through my photography.
Headshots Photography
Generally headshots are for those that require a Linkedin, Social media or Company profile image. With these I like to visit the customer in their own surroundings and capture an image that is relevant for the intended purpose rather. I do not have a studio so only work on location.
Portrait Photography
For portrait photography I like to capture natural portraits in a familiar setting so most of the time this involves travelling to the client, I prefer to capture shots using natural light but of course I always have portable lighting with me to assist if needed in order to create the required effect of the shot or shots that are needed. I do not have a studio so only work on location.
Wedding Photography
I offer 3 levels of service for wedding photography.
SILVER SERVICE is that of the ceremony followed by bride and groom then family shots.
GOLD SERVICE is the bridal preparations, ceremony, bride and groom/family shots and the wedding breakfast up to and including cutting the cake.
PLATINUM SERVICE is the bridal preparations, ceremony, bride and groom/family shots, wedding breakfast, cutting the cake and the evening celebrations as well.
For all services the photographs are delivered via a secure online account ready for you to view, download and share as required. Of course an album and or prints can also be arranged where there are many options available.
