We hired George to paint our 3 bedroom house from skirting boards to ceiling and he did an incredible job. He removed wallpaper, prepped plastered walls that were in bad condition and painted everything to a perfect finish. It actually feels like a new house. He completed the project earlier than expected even though we added on some extras. He works quietly and diligently, and clearly takes pride in his work. He is easy to get along with and his presence in our home didn’t feel intrusive at all. He was extremely tidy, always cleaned areas before painting (even the floors) and always tidied up before leaving. His price was fair and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire George again. George painted our entire house when we moved in; walls, ceilings, stairs, skirting and architrave, doors and wooden fireplaces. This took two + weeks and we were working from home for a lot of this time, it was a pleasure to have him in the house with us. His paint work is excellent and he is very knowledgeable for example advising us when we needed a different undercoat and the reasons why. He arrived on time each morning and cleaned before leaving each evening (even vacuuming carpets). We believe he charged a fair price for a job very well done and have since recommended him to many friends! More...
