I enjoy spending time with animals caring for and interacting with them. I have completed an Animal Care level 2 course at City of Bristol college where I enjoyed learning about caring for a range of different species.

I had alot of difficulty finding a reliable, consistant petsitter up until I made contact with Fur Fins and Feathers Pet Care.
They have been great, really reliable and follow all the instructions I give them, so my two rabbits have a similar routine.
I've been really pleased with the service Fur Fins and Feathers Pet Care have given me so far and would highly recommend them. They provide me with peace of mind while I'm away by sending me updates and photos to show how my rabbits are doing.

From our initial enquiry the response was professional, friendly and accomodating. This very high level of customer care has continued over the many, many visits to our home to look after our cats and dogs. Julie's service is excellent and very reliable and professional. Come rain or shine (or ice!) Julie turns up to take our fur baby for her constitutional. As pre-arranged, doggy might walk with other dogs, giving her some much needed doggy company, or just walk on her own. The needs and temperament of both dogs appears to be managed well. What do you love most about your job?
I love learning about the needs of each pet. I enjoy spending time with them and being creative about providing high standards of care, interaction and stimulation for them. I enjoy working with owners to help address any issues they are experiencing that will improve their pets life and their own enjoyment of their pet.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting my own pet care business is something I have wanted to do for many years. Covid provided the motivation as it brought about a change of direction career wise. I have recently completed a level 2 in animal care at college, learning about the health, care and stimulation needs of a variety of species that people keep as pets.
Why should our clients choose you?
I care about the pets that I look after. I have experience of looking after pets and also am committed to providing high standards of care. I set myself high standards in all the work that I do. I enjoy interacting with customers to assess their pets need and find ways of meeting these.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Covid safe procedures I have put in place are as follows:
* Socially distanced assessments in well ventilated areas such as meeting in the garden
* Using my own equipment rather than the clients e.g. leads when dog walking
* Using separate equipment for each dog e.g. balls, towels
* Cleaning equipment between dogs
* Ensuring equipment is washed and disinfected
