We hired Milissia’s catering team for our son’s 18th birthday party, and they completely blew us away! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and professional. The food was beyond delicious — tender BBQ meats, perfectly seasoned sides, and everything served fresh and hot. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the spicy sausages.

Milissia and her team were friendly, organized, and attentive to every detail. They set everything up beautifully, kept the food flowing, and made sure everyone was happy and full. It felt more like having family take care of us than just a catering service.

Friendly team who turned up on time and delivered exactly what we ordered. The food was typical BBQ fare—nothing fancy, but tasty and perfect for a garden BBQ. Service was good, and they cleared up on time, which was appreciated.

Tip: Put something under the BBQ to catch any fat drips, just to protect your patio or lawn.

We hired for a Christening. Food was lovely and Milissia and staff were so helpful. Everything was set up and cooked on time and there was plenty to go around. The cake was fantastic too. Completely took the stress out of organising food for our event.

Worked with Milissia for a short film shoot and the crew had never been so happy with the food! We're used to cold sandwiches, so the nice hot meals were a thoroughly enjoyed change of pace and the cakes that accompanied them will definitely be talked about for a long time! 10/10 service :)

I was very impressed with how quick Milissia was to respond to messages. She quickly picked up what we wanted, & absolutely delivered. While she was quite a distance away, she arranged for the cake to be delivered & everything happened when she said it would. The cake was really nice - very lemony (as requested) & really prettily decorated. We had asked for elephants on the top which turned out to be a bit too heavy after a few days, but the cake was gorgeous. Really pleased overall & would recommend. More...

Horrible, please never order from this company. This is not even real bakery. Cake was delivered by some dodgy looking people, in horrible packaging. Cake looked like it was baked by 5 year old, smell coming from the cake was disgusting. Cake was nothing like on the pictures they shown. I had to throw the cake away and purchased one from Waitrose’s as I don’t want any of the kids to have food poisoning. The cake base was dirty, it was not new. I paid 125£ for the cake, it it a real scam. Makes me wonder how bark checks the reviews and grants platinum rating. Lady who did the cake was Milissia Hall. If you want nice cake please avoid ordering from her, as cake she delivered looked disgusting. More...

I arranged a spread of food for a family funeral from Milissia. She talked me through all my options & was extremely patient. I was worried about the food not being enough, but I had nothing to worry about, it was more than generous & so tasty too…especially the samasoas! Many people asked what catering company do I use? So it was thoroughly enjoyed by all!

We recently used Francesca's Catering & Cakes for our seniors Tea Party, and we couldn’t be happier with the service provided. They delivered a delicious assortment of sandwiches, vol-au-vents, spring rolls, bagels, cheese and biscuits all beautifully presented and fresh. The homemade scones with clotted cream and jam were a particular highlight and went perfectly with the teas and coffee they also provided. Plates, napkins and cutlery were provided.

They arrived on time and were highly professional. Our guests were very impressed with the quality and variety provided.

This is my third occasion of using Francesca's Catering Cakes. This time for a Wake with approx 150+ people. Mel (the owner and Chef) was in regular contact to ensure that she understood what was required and delivered to the brief. Both Mel and her team are highly professional, set high standards and do not disappoint. We had an extensive buffet menu and there was lots to sample. Great food and amazing dessert. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mel's services and will no doubt be back for more (the best accolade for a Chef). I ordered a cake for 70 people for my friend (who breeds horses) for her 75th birthday. The cake was huge and wonderfully decorated with horses, fences, grass and even a feeding trough. The most fantastic catering service. Francesca, Milissia and Frank organised the most beautiful multi-course Christmas meal for my private Christmas event at home for 20 people. The food was insanely good, and they set up in 30 mins to ensure all was ready to be served, warmers ready and food food to go. I couldn’t have asked for a better service. Melissia made the most beautiful cake for my 60th Birthday! It was much more than I expected. Would highly recommend her.

We ordered from Francesca's for our work event and we were very impressed with everything from the communication to the tasty food and good portion sizes.

We have used Francesca's catering services 4 times now and been extremely happy each time! Great service, lovely tasty food and always happy to help!

Millissa provided a 55th birthday bespoke cake and dropped off a self service caribbean buffet food package my picnic birthday in London in July 2024.

All of the guests were appreciative and happy with the *various spread and commented on the flavours and taste.

After posting my request I was sent a message only 15 minutes later asking me to view their Instagram page where I was able to find photos and contact information for the baker. I rang them and told them I needed the cake in only 4 days time. My order was accepted and a reasonable price agreed. We used WhatsApp to ask and answer questions about some details for the cake such as type of icing and bespoke message. The cake was delivered on the agreed date in good time with advice to put it the fridge to prevent it from melting which worked well. Everyone who tasted it said how “moist” and “delicious” it was. It looked great and the icing was very good too. The size was perfect and we had plenty for the party plus enough to send back to some friends that couldn’t make to the party.
So thank you so much for your excellent cake, made at short notice and with great customer delivery service.
