I started training with James at FPT in March 2023, firstly at the group PT sessions and then 1-2-1. I’ve loved the classes and individual PT sessions.
I was very nervous but James was welcoming and friendly from the start and I’ve settled in really quickly. I have some mobility issues but he always makes adjustments when required. My main goals were to build strength and confidence, both of those have improved massively over the last few months. James is always supportive and encouraging, & he’s helped me improve technique. I like the fact he keeps notes on the sessions so we can look at what I’ve done and plan targets for future weeks.
The classes are fun and everyone supports each other. Because thwre is a max of 7 people it means James can give each person individual help. It’s not generic and he sets the weights according to our ability.
I fell out of love with exercise post-pandemic, but this has reignited that and I love attending training sessions.

Never used a PT before so didn’t know what to expect but 3 sessions in and I’m really enjoying my work outs and excited to see what I can do!
How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
My plan of action is to listen to the clients needs and wants in order to design a programme, in order to educate and improve their daily habits to bring my clients closer to their goals. I like to teach my clients that you can still live and enjoy your life whilst achieving great results.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
To take action, be consistent and willing to learn.
What do you love most about your job?
The satisfaction of knowing that I have helped improved a clients life in one way or another. Wether that be physical or mental health related, physique related or performance related.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always worked within the fitness industry from when I completed my A-levels at school (10 years). The main driver was that my brother suffers with cystic fibrosis so took on helping improving his own health and general well-being.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have worked with a variety of clientele of all age groups and walks of life. Being in the fitness industry for 10 years has given all the tools i need, in order to help you achieve great results!

I can provide both sessions at the studio and home visits. If required, i can bring equipment with me from the studio.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Hand sanitizers are within the private studio, with anti bacterial wipes to clean any equipment after each personal training session.
