I wanted to be able to have the freedom to be my own boss, doing work that I truly love, and to be at home with my children.

I always work remotely online from home, due to the nature of my services.
Translation (French to English)
I specialise in legal translations (court submissions, contracts etc.) and financial documents, but also enjoy translating marketing texts, business presentations, website copy, tourism texts and general documentation.
I have a BA (Hons) and a Masters in French and English from Durham University and the Certified Institute of Linguists' Diploma in Translation (2003).
Copyediting
Copyediting a text means improving how the text flows by correcting any grammar issues and making stylistic changes for better readability.
Proofreading
As a qualified and experienced proofreader, I regularly proofread short texts, checking for typos, grammatical errors and formatting issues.
I also love to work with small publishing houses on fiction manuscripts.
