I found Philip's hard sell approach completly innappropriate when clients, like myself are probably in a vulnerable postion.
He hadn't read my request properly (assuming that EMDR hadn't worked), didn't read the signals that I wasn't interested in what he had to offer when I didn't return his calls and messages. When I messaged to say I had found another avenue he started questioning the validity of this avenue.
His key sentence in his initial email wasn't complete either.
The last thing I felt was that I was "in control".
I can only write honestly of my experience and it wasn't a good one: I wish Philip all the best but this is not the way to go about getting business in this field.

Reply from Fillip Counselling
This review is from a person I have never met or spoken to. 4 words in a short text message were interpreted as "marketing" rather than an expression of clinical concern. A phone conversation would have avoided any misunderstanding which is both a shame and lesson to us all.

Having experienced a series of traumas and losses over the past decade, I found myself adrift, losing valuable connections with others, and becoming fearful of life's challenges and everyday interactions.
However, through his wisdom and experience, Philip has guided me towards rediscovering my authentic self. The shattered remains of my being are now being reconstructed, with the foundations firmly laid.
A skilled therapist possesses the ability to identify and address both the underlying causes and surface-level concerns, leading to a transformation of negative and self-destructive thought patterns into positive and constructive ones. Together, we delved into the significant aspects of my life, engaging in extensive rewiring and reasoning. His assessment was excellent, and I truly admire his technique of empowering clients to methodically confront their issues under his guidance. The changes I have undergone in the past two months have been astounding. I consider myself fortunate to have found him, and I am extremely satisfied with my decision to seek his assistance. I would recommend him any day of the week.

First session for my son went very well. He said that it felt like a safe space to talk and clicked with Philip straight away. The session has definitely had a positive impact on my son since. Would highly recommend. More...

Eye opening, Philip helped me to look back at traumas I had all but forgotten and bring them all together to discuss and find reason behind behaviours and what led me to my current situation. First session and already I feel a weight is being lifted off my shoulders. Thank you. More...

Philip was a great Councillor, and helped me massively in a time when I needed someone to listen to me. He helped me understand my anxieties and why I was feeling depressed.
He explained, in simple terms a number of various reasons why I was feeling the way I was, and gave me techniques to control my emotions.
I can't thank Philip enough for the therapy he provided to me in a difficult stage of my life.
Fully Recommend.

While I’ve only had one session with Fillip, I like his scientific way of working. I’ve already noticed a difference in my anxiety levels. I felt very ‘seen and hard’ by Fillip More...

Philip was an excellent Councillor. He was a good listener and asked questions which I hadn't thought of help me understand what was happening to me. He understood the drugs I was being prescribed which helped. He also taught me what was happening in my brain which also helped my recovery. Would recommend him. More...

Fillip was brilliant in helping me understanding my PTSD and then explaining me through it and the process of it, the rewind therapy really does work. Brilliant counsellor.
