What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Patience and preparation! Waiting for the lighting to be right and also sensing when the decisive moment is about to happen.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
It is very import that clients have a good idea what they are wanting and I think it's my job to be clear what they want and also to be clear what I can offer.
What do you love most about your job?
The challenge of seeking the perfect photograph. Whether portraits or landscape, there's a real sense of satisfaction when I get the shot I want. This includes the challenge of capturing people's personalities during portrait sittings.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a single father, I found it was easier to work around freelance work than the stress of a full-time job.
Why should our clients choose you?
I work hard to capture events or people. I am very much a people person, wanting to show people in their natural environment or showing their personality during a portrait session.

My work means I would have to be at venues or in studio.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Initially it would be communication via emails, etc. The usual means of social distancing and wear face covering.

Either studio based or in their own environment, whether at work or location of their choosing.

This covers many things; it can be a corporate or commercial events or live music events.
