The original flat lead roof above my bay window needed to be completely replaced due to its age and state. Falcon roofing came to asses the extent of the condition of the roof and were very clear of their advice on having it replaced. They had also advised that the chimney stack also needed re-pointing. When they arrived to do the job, they were very professional and carried out the job efficiently and thoroughly and completed it within the day. They also replaced some broken guttering and tiles with no additional cost to the original quote. They cleared up after the job and the finished work was very nice. We used Falcon Roofing as a Property Maintenance company for one of properties in London. Falcon attended site on an emergency basis and carried out roof repair's to prevent any further roof leaks. Pat was my contact at Falcon Roofing. He came to my home and checked ceiling in room with leak. Where it was situated gave him a good clue as to what the issue could be. He needed to check the loft.He also checked out my house externally, He concluded that scaffolding would be needed to get the job done. Scaffolding was erected on Monday. Pat arrived with his team on Tuesday. They went up onto the roof and discovered that in addition to the leak there were other problems that would progress even more over time. Pat took photos of the other 4 issues and I decided he should fix those too. Pat is thorough in his approach to his work. We messaged Pat on Wednesday night and he was here by Thursday afternoon to have a look at a leak we'd been having from the ceiling. Pat was quick to inspect and theorise what he thought the problem might be and gave us a quote. Pat and his team started work the next morning and discovered that the problem was different to what he had initially anticipated. He was very transparent about this and explained the problem thoroughly to us. Pat also noticed that our gutter had fallen during a storm and helped us to mend it free if charge! Falcon Roofing were doing a job next door to me after a storm had done some damage to my neighbour's roof, and were kind enough to check my roof over when I asked them. Needed a relatively small job done which was done promptly and to an excellent standard. A comprehensive explanation was given of what the work would entail before starting. Having done a great job for us on a previous problem we had no hesitation in engaging Pat and his team to renovate our flat roof and guttering. In March Pat & his team completely re-roofed our house. The job was to reroof a side extension & the main valley roof with slates, reroof two bay windows with clay tiles plus a small flat roof with fibre glass. All lead flashing was renewed & new copping stones laid where appropriate. New ceiling insulation was installed. It was a four week job, completed to a high standard with quality materials. Pat always kept us abreast of their daily progress with photos etc. & any problems were resolved with us straightaway. He & his team were very helpful, punctual, courteous, easy to deal with & he always listened to our requirements or suggestions and sought to meet them. They were very tidy with all tools and waste materials taken away at the end of each day. The job came in on budget save for some small extras which were agreed to as they arose. We had Pat come in to do an inspection consult for a major leak that was coming out of our ceiling in our bathroom. Pat arrived the same day, and took the time to determine what the issue was, as well as ran a few tests. He figured out that the leak was due to a blockage, and leaky pipe in the gully that was the result of a previous gutter cleaner stuffing debris in the gutter. He suggested bringing in drain specialists to inspect further in case opening the gully on the exterior of the roof wasn’t needed. It would have been a bigger job to do exterior work. However the drain specialists figured out that fixing the pipe from within the house was the best thing to do. So Pat saved us from a major job. His selflessness in making sure the job was done correctly even though it meant that we didn’t need his services in the end was very much appreciated! Paul came by today, short notice for an emergency for an inspection/consult. Water was pouring out of our bathroom ceiling light, and had several areas that started leaking today in our bathroom. He was very professional, as well as informative. He communicated very well, made it easy to understand the issue he found. I was very pleased that he targeted where the issue was, and didn’t just tell us that we needed to a new roof. He really took the time to locate the problem. My husband had hired a different roofer previously that cleared our gutters, and we suspect that he might have been shady, and sabotaged our ventilation pipe near our gutter/gully so he could be brought back in for another job. Paul inspected the area the first guy mentioned, and said there weren’t any issues there so it was quite clear the first guy was trying to scam us. I had some leaks from my roof, and after inspecting my roof within a couple of days of the initial request, identified the issues and was able to schedule in work to start in a couple of weeks. A few additional problems were also identified, which the team resolved without fuss. Once complete, the team cleared the job and made good on their work area. He followed up quickly with two estimates, as agreed, which allowed work to proceed. His quality of work was high and he kept me updated as things progressed.
