Michael, is an exceptional electrician. I had one major job to be done and a couple of minor tasks, one of them being my shower, Michael fixed the problem the day he came to check the tasks before he received a penny from me! !! I was delighted to have my shower working. He replaced my very old fuse box to a very high standard. Both him amd his collegue apprentice did some other maintenance jobs too, fixing a damaged light in my bathroom. The price quoted was very reasonable too. Very knowledgeable and professional excellent service

I had some weird wiring that was a holdover from the last owner.
Facility pro came in and did a bunch of rewiring and replaced the 30 year old fuze box.
They were very professional and courteous as they se about what was NOT a straight forward job.

A broken switch (badly installed with the boiler and shorting!) meant we had no hot water. Despite it already being late on a Saturday afternoon, Michael responded immediately and drove over from Coatbridge to Edinburgh (ended up a 90-minute drive for him). 30 minutes later it was all sorted and water was heating again. He also pointed out various other problems (like the cable and switch to the boiler being too low rated, and a lack of RCD on the fuse box), which we could lead to a fire, and we will need to deal with...

Time keeping , unreliable never turned up when he said he would always rushing to another job .his mate always whining he had somewhere else to be came to find a fault £2200 later fitted new fuse box partial rewiring, found original fault last day on site ,didn't rewire from fuse box to socket instead pieced out in length? Promised me an electrical certificate on completion of job ,after numerous request still not received it. More...

They have yet to finish. Perhaps abandoned job. They sorted my initial emergency but still have work to do like updating my fuse box, I have the new box but so far(3 weeks) they have not returned to fit it. Not very reliable time wise.

Sorry to say it has not been great. Bad time keeping and should have given us the EICR Certificate after the full rewiring of the house was complete. Almost 4 weeks on and still has not sent us it knowing we are trying to sell our house and needs this as proof of the work having been done. Will now have to contact another Electrician to come and inspect this work and give us a Certificate at a cost to us as it is excuse after excuse why he is not supplying us with a Certificate. Obviously something suspicious about not supplying Certificate when this is meant to be handed over on day of completion. More...
