We had a very poor experience with Eximus Education for A-Level Biology tuition between Jan–June 2025. Despite paying promptly, we faced serious issues including: Ineffective teaching: Around 10 Biology sessions (Mar–Apr) were wasted with no actual teaching, just the tutor got on a call while my daughter doing past papers. No structured lessons were delivered, leaving key topics uncovered during crucial exam prep. Voice-only sessions: Contrary to their advertised "1-to-1 personal tuition", all sessions were audio-only calls, not face-to-face or even on video. Frequent delays and cancellations: Sessions were often rescheduled last-minute or started late, with no compensation or makeup time. Technical failures: Connectivity issues from the tutor’s side cut sessions short without the time being made up. Tutor are mostly remote not from the UK. Unfair billing: We were invoiced in full even for missed, shortened, or unproductive sessions. No lawful UK government-compliant complaints procedure was ever provided, despite repeated requests. When we raised our concerns, the company offered no resolution instead threatening legal action over invoices that we lawfully disputed under UK consumer rights. This service fell far short of the standards set by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other relevant UK laws. What inspired you to start your own business?
Eximus Education was created to ensure that high-quality education is available for everyone and not only for those who can afford it. Initiating as individual tutors at first, we saw how difficult it is for parents and at times, students to get extra help because of the rising cost of living and consequent changes in lifestyle. This inspired us to join hands and provide bespoke tutoring solutions to students at more affordable rates. In this journey, we have been able to benefit scores of students and have increased our tutor database to 200 plus.

1. We possess a pool of over 200 meticulously chosen tutors proficient in a diverse array of subjects. These tutors, who are experienced teachers and not just side hustlers, undergo a rigorous selection process to ensure only the finest candidates are included in our pool.
2. 80% of our students achieved outstanding A and B grades within their first term of tutoring.
3. Our student-tutor matching turnaround time (TAT) typically stands at 24 hours, and often, even less. This swift response is driven by occasions when students approach us feeling stressed about impending exam deadlines, prompting us to prioritise their requirements above all other tasks.
4. We operate on the principle of delivering affordable, dependable, and easily accessible tutoring solutions of exceptional quality on a large scale. 5. No Upfront Payments: Upon completion of the onboarding procedures, there is no requirement for any advance payments. Students are invoiced after the conclusion of lessons or at the end of the month, whichever comes first. Our unparalleled quality, rates, and efficiency set the benchmark within the industry!
6. No Obligatory Contracts: We do not impose any minimum hourly requirements on our students. Our flexible tutoring agreements enable students to terminate the contract at any point they deem their needs fulfilled.
