We chose EVR after reading positive reviews that other customers had posted. They didn’t disappoint. We have had 16 panels fitted along with 6kw of battery storage. From start to finish the service provided has been excellent. The price was competitive, and the standard of work cannot be faulted. The team that installed the system were efficient, professional, friendly, considerate and very tidy. The project was all done to the promised schedule - the work was commenced when EVR said it would be and finished within 7 days which included the erection and dismantling of the scaffolding, (the actual installation of the panels and associated electrical components was completed in 3 days). Aftercare has also been faultless - we had a small problem with the app that’s associated with the system. I have just completed a full renovation of my property, and the final upgrade was to install a level of renewables. Having reviewed a number of companies, all recommended I settled on EVR, for three reasons firstly the recommendation was made with zero reservations, the price was competitive & they were available to install in an acceptable timeline. Great experience with the EVR team. We had a slightly unusual request to install a solar array and battery storage using used EV batteries to focus on sustainability and affordability. EVR did not hesitate to take on the challenge of a slightly unusual install and were more than willing to look at a bespoke solution to suit our needs. No other companies were interested in being as flexible. From start to finish the install was very efficient, scaffolding went up in 3hrs and the team worked through two solid days of rain to install 15 PV panels on 3 different roofs with limited space, wire everything up and get it all working with our reclaimed EV batteries. Really can't speak highly enough of this company! We had a slightly unusual install on the garage and some future-proofing / off grid requirements - the team scoped and quoted up quickly, and very competitive vs. other installers. The install took 2 days and wasn't disruptive. The installation team were friendly, polite, and clearly communicated how it all works. EVR were great in getting me up and running on a bit of a bespoke solar/Victron project. From the offset Kevin, Andy and Ben were willing to work with me to understand exactly what I wanted, they then made sure it was achieved. As I had completed half of the work (DIY) before bringing them in to the picture, some of my requests were probably a little different to how they would do a normal full install, but they gave decent advice and got the job done. I had engaged multiple companies before EVR, with some not giving quotes due to the bespoke nature and some not giving any confidence in working with Victron/DIY kit. Whilst EVR was not the cheapest quote I received they were great to work with and gave many extra certifications that the cheaper quotes lacked in, they were definitely a good choice and I wouldn’t hesitate to pick them over the cheaper quotes again. I met Scott & Kevin at the New Forest Show, I had already spoken to a number of Solar companies but found them vague on details and more focused on commitment to sign up for install. Scott and Kevin visited our property and after taking their review of our roof & positioning discussed proposals for a 11.2 kw system. Their knowledge & explanation and also their competitive pricing made the decision to go ahead was an easy decision. At the time of writing we are 6 weeks in on our journey of solar energy use and our experience has exceeded our expectations, the install was completed within a week, hampered by rain but at all times the install electricians were polite, tidy and very respectful of our home. The scaffolding (EVR owned) was up no longer than necessary. Upon installation completion we very quickly received our G99 & MCS certification much quicker than other competitors had quoted. In terms of benefit our electrical costs are 5% of what we used to have which is amazing but also we have had to learn & use the app ( very addictive) to maximise energy use when the sun is charging and as winter months approach further learnings to be had. I had a reasonably good idea of what I wanted to achieve with solar panels and batteries but Scott modified and crystallised those thoughts into an excellent package based around Huawei inverters and batteries. Installation was on time, efficient, tidy and very friendly - EVR have a great team who appear to enjoy both what they do and each others company. The batteries are very ergonomic as well as being both modular and interchangeable and the (very efficient) panels are almost invisible unless you know where to look. When you do look it is clear that they have been installed well and I have confidence that they will be near maintenance free for a long time to come. Initial teething problems (solely configuring the monitoring software) were dealt with and for the last six months has just been a case of sitting back and relaxing. The installation is 10 months old now and is performing pretty much spot on its projections. if July and Augusts' (2023) weather hadn't been so bad they would almost certainly have exceeded those expectations. PV array, battery and inverter installation. I wanted an installer who was led by engineers, not box shifters. I chose EVR on the basis of personal recommendation and sight of their work, including their scaffolding, on a property similar to my own. The scaffolders were excllent, and fully respected constraints with regard to placement. Installation of panels, system and scaffolding was trouble free, with no property damage - remarkable as the work was undertaken in freexing mid February. Scott arranged the date for fitting giving me over a months notice. The scaffolding arrived over a week prior, so that I could utilise it to sort some issues with the roof prior to solar being installed. The full EVR team arrived early doors on the date arranged, they all worked solidly for two full days, on the third day it was commissioned and producing solar energy to the two batteries they also installed. The scaffold was then cleared on the date arranged, no mess left at all, really professional job completed and thoroughly pleased with it all. The aftercare has been top notch too, what more can I say, EVR were recommended to me for professional solar installation and they didn’t disappoint at all. Our Solar array was supplied and fitted by EVR. Some of it was done tidily and to a decent standard, other areas not so much. The team were dodging poor weather at the time of installation, which made work understandably sporadic, but there are certain elements that have been left looking rushed/messy. Some snagging was amended and I believe the crew were reminded to keep working sites tidier. Other issues were not addressed. Paperwork for setting up tariffs etc has also been problematic.
