What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The key is creating a comfortable and relaxed space for the client. Taking pictures can sometimes feel awkward, but by discussing your needs beforehand and staying in close communication throughout the session, I make sure you get exactly what you want - or even better. Most importantly, the best version of you shines through in every shot.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I’ll ask things like, “How do you plan to use the images?” and “What do you want the photos to say about you?” I also like to know how you feel about being in front of the camera, so I can help make you feel as comfortable and confident as possible - especially if you’re a little shy!
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people and getting to know their stories. But the best part is always seeing their reaction when they see the final images - it’s always better than they expected.
