Disappointed with the service from the company. we had a surveyor come out twice to see the drive, and pictures also sent. agreed a price, we were to complete some side steps, remove an old fence and remove some of our new front fence so they can make a clean joint with the path. we completed this and they started work a 2 months later. morning they are due to arrive they call us to ask if we had bought post mix for the new fence posts, which wasnt part of the contract. we were to supply the actual fence posts, the drainage and step toppers. they turn up to the job, spoke about it and spent 2 hours deliberating on how to do it. my partner turned up as he seen on the cameras that they were struggling with it. a lot of head scratching. theythey had issues with the job and didn't like certain aspects of it. they told us we should of built a step at the front too, however on the contract it says they would do this, we were just to supply the topper to finish it off. they didn't like that our drive was lower than the neighbors as it could cause theirs to subside, but again this was discussed with the surveyor and given the ok. they also said they would need extra stone which would be an extra cost. they left after 2 hours with no explanation. we had to chase them to see what was going on. they eventually said they don't want to do the job. then we had to chase them to get the deposit back. overall 2 months wasted with this company. we have had another firm come and they have said they can do the work and will be able to do what we need so I don't quite understand what their issues were. there was no accountability at all. we now have to wait another few months for the firm to start. we have had other firms also price the work and all able to do the job so unsure why this firm has such issues. maybe as it wasn't flat and standard it was too much hard work them.
