When my family moved into our new home, we were in desperate need of transforming dark, outdated interior spaces. Jo successfully met the challenge of introducing colorful, patterned fabric for all of the window dressings and then meticulously matched and selected paint and carpet colours.
She has a real eye for bringing together a color scheme. Because of her tremendous talent, I frequently find myself admiring the color schemes of the rooms.

What’s your interior design process?
We will have a complementary introductory call to talk about the basics of your project. If we decide that we might like to work with each other, then we can arrange a consultation at your home to go further into detail on the project and what you are trying to achieve. Following that I will send a proposal and contract across and get started on the designs. As my client, you can be as involved as you want to be in the process.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
My preferred style is contemporary. However, I am happy to adapt to any style that you would like to create in your home.
What do you love most about your job?
I love making clients happy and helping them to create their dream home. I absolutely love building colour schemes and sourcing fabrics, wallpapers and paints to compliment each other. I love creating mood boards and interacting with my clients to build relationships with them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always wanted to have my own business. A change in my personal circumstances was the final driver for me to take action and Ellenay Interiors was created.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I think it's really important to meet with clients face to face if at all possible. It's also very helpful to see the space that is being discussed. However, if this is not logistically possible and the client is happy with an online service then I can also accommodate this.
