Hi Carol , sorry you were dissappointed for not getting call from our end, this is new system introduced by bark and we have informed them it costing us and the client money so we can not provide call back service but they are working on it arrange how it would ideal work for both parties , as you can understand we give service as structural engineer but we special deal with structural drawing and calculations and design not report and we can only give service to limit customers. Hope they will sort this option soon we have informed them and left them feedback . we wish you all the best with your project

Discovered major flaws in the structural design and calculations of the previous plans by building control for a rear extension. The previous structural engineer through the architect simply didn't respond to the queries. I had to rectify this ASAP as the build schedule is tight. I contacted Tefade Elias and he replied immediately and gave advice. We explored the options and found a solution that is safest and most cost effective; because its a sizeable extension instead of the usual RSJ on pad stones which wouldn't hold in this case due to the risk of racking, Tefade designed a picture frame RSJ structure to spread the load which mitigated this risk without the need to alter existing foundation! This saves not only time but also cost. What I am most impressed with is the response time. Always contactable by email, replies same day, all query answered and of course the plans were approved by building control. His work is detailed and gives you solid confidence. After our first architect made some mistakes on our plans, we needed new ones drawn up quickly as the work had already started. Elias was available and visited the site the day after I contacted him.
