EDP

I chose EDP as I wanted to use a local builder, and Jay appeared to be reliable and professional, promising a start date within 5 weeks of contract signing, 10 years warranty and involvement of an independent surveyor.
After contract was signed and deposit paid (07/04), there was no communication from EDP. After numerous attempts to obtain confirmation when work would start, I finally (26/05) was informed work would commence mid-June (12/06).
The night before start date, I was informed there was a delay.
10 weeks after signing date (16/06) the work finally commenced. After 2 days work, nobody returned for another two weeks (03/07).
The work was completed (05/07), leaving an uneven connection made of concrete to the tarmacked pavement, and a bag with building waste outside my drive with the promise that the bag will be collected shortly.
It has yet (as at 08/08) to be collected and numerous attempts to make contact with Jay have been fruitless.
It has been a stressful experience of continuous chasing throughout, and it now appears I am left with sorting waste removal that is contractually EDP's obligation.
I am very disappointed with how this has turned out, and while the work done directly on my driveway looks great, I have doubts that if any issues arise in the next 5-10 years, the contractual warranty will be honoured. More...

Got a really quick response, from a number of your members, had a quote from one of them, the next day and was really happy with how professional and knowledgeable they were, we decided to book them to do the job, I would definitely be using Bark to find a tradesperson should I need one in the future, it saved so much time not having to scroll through the internet , five stars from me 😊😊
