It was an absolute delight to meet and work with Eddy, he checked what size the sofa was before he came, and measured the door frame at my friends house (where he was collecting the sofa from) and when he got to my house, he checked where the sofa was going, and what the access was like, BEFORE he got the sofa out! (Other ‘Man with van’ services I have used, being the item straight out without checking obstacles first) Eddy was very easy to talk to, polite and business like. I contacted Eddy as a last minute resort after one of the other transporters disappointed me he came to my rescue at the 11th hour. He was professional all through on time and patient with me and kept me up to date with the journey considering it was 6 hours drive more than 500km. Ohhhh and his price was fair than all the rest. Eddy was very professional. He asked all the expected questions about access and how heavy the item was etc. He was there in plenty of time and surveyed the space available toget the sofa out (it was avery tight squeeze) he took great care to check nothing was catching on the door frame, and took the sofa legs off. He offered to put the legs back on when we got to my house, but after the enormous effort he and his assistant went to, I insisted he needed a rest and that I could easily do it!, Eddy also gave us a business card and advised of other van services - whichwe will definitely need in the next 6 months; and I will be highly recommending him to all my friends.
