Was really stuck at how to get any motivation to get in shape. Found this webpage online and came across Eat More Run Less, honestly thought it was just a marketing tool, but spoke to David on the phone he explained everything, how it worked, no sales call just had a good chat and decided to join the programme. Genuinely can honestly say one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life, so happy how everything has been progressing. Would highly recommend David at Eat More Run Less. I really struggled with weight loss and fitness for the last 15 years on my own, and felt like I was drowning in information online about how to lose weight and what to eat and how to exercise but he really made it very plain & simple, and so easy to move through the programme and I can’t stop telling everyone else how they NEED to learn this stuff for themselves. How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
A healthy diet is fundamental to someones health & wellbeing. The saying, "You are what you eat" has never been truer in today's modern world with so much access to quick, cheap, convenient "foods", and I do use that term loosely, as it really is not food at all. Feed your body the right nutrients and you will thrive as a healthy, happy, free human being. And just to explain, by the term "free" I mean no more restrictions on your life, no more I can't bend down there, can't run, can't lift heavy objects, can't eat that, get back to moving & feeling like you did two or three decades earlier, or more for some.
How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I always meet every client where they are at currently. So that means individualised programmes for everyone, assess where they are at currently and we build on it from there together. The programmes include nutrition targets/recommendations, exercise plans, step targets, sleep etc. We add small changes week on week, whilst monitoring how the body reacts to the changes we implement, and adapt from there. Yes, we absolutely get clients results, but more importantly through the app we use, we have a few minutes of simple daily reading for clients to have a look at and hopefully absorb the information and utilise that so they can not only make the changes necessary whilst we work together, but continue to keep the changes & habits they've built in place for the rest of their life.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
There is no secret, if everyone simply aimed to eat majority of whole foods, exercised with a combination of strength/resistance training and cardio, and slept well, everyone would have the body of their dreams, the problem is there is sooo much nonsense online about special diets, special exercise/workout routines, and no one really knows where to start, and thats where we come in. The programme is designed in a way that we build out new daily/weekly habits whilst also working with clients to help educate them about how nutrition & exercise effects their own body. And lastly it's not just about your body and how it looks, its about the whole picture, how you feel, mentally & physically, how you move, how you relationships are, there is not one single metric in your life that will not improve when you get to a healthier, fitter place.
What do you love most about your job?
Client wins. They give me such a buzz. Getting to know clients also, and seeing how their lives are impacted by going through the process. You know, you see a lot of fitness trainers, and health coaches online saying they want to change the world, I'm not arrogant enough to believe that about myself, I just want to work together with my clients to change their world, and hopefully that bleeds into everyone around them in their immediate lives, and that they continue long after we've worked together.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Honestly, it was just looking around me, at everyone I know, family, friends, work colleagues, just people walking down the street, very rarely do you see someone that actually looks fit and healthy, if your reading this right now, look at everyone around you and you can probably count on one hand how any people, workout regularly, both strength train and cardio, eat a relatively clean diet, and aren't on X number of medications. I've always loved sharing health & fitness information with friends & family, but no one would listen to what I was saying as "that's not what's on the news" or "but google says this" and I decided to go and get certified to back up everything I was saying, and almost give me some kind of authority so that friends and family would possibly take my advice. If I'm honest I just fell in love with the process, and I really would like to continue trying to make an impact on each and every clients life that we work together with.
Why should our clients choose you?
First let me tell you why they shouldn't choose me. They shouldn't choose me if they want to "lose 2 or 3 stone in a month" It is absolutely not the right way to do it, it's a "quick fix" that does nothing but almost guarantees you will gain that weight back, and normally some more on top of that, at some point in the near future, and just doesn't do anything but damage you in the long term. So Eat More Run Less is not a "quick fix" company, we solely put the health of our clients first before anything else. You should choose eat More Run Less if your looking to change your health, your habits and your approach and attitude to health & fitness for the rest of your life.

Yes, all services are online/remotely. All done through phone calls, text, email, and app access with daily education all the way through the programme.
