We used Dynasty Sound Entertainment for our wedding last summer and they were absolutely incredible. Jake was amazing and had everyone up on the dance floor all night. Our venue said our DJ was fantastic and they were so impressed that all the music was mixed live. He used a mixture of our music choice as well as reading the room and playing songs to suit everyone. I’ve been lucky enough to have DJ Lavish play at both of my daughter Iyla’s birthday celebrations. Her first and her second, which also doubled as a launch for our children’s book.
And each time, he’s been nothing short of amazing.
He brings such warmth, joy, and professionalism to every set, and the way he puts together music to suit the mood and the little ones is pure talent. It’s not easy to DJ for a crowd that includes toddlers, parents, aunties, uncles, and friends of all ages, but he absolutely smashed it. Both times!
What I love most is that he doesn’t just play music he helps create a vibe and experience.
A lovely person through and through, reliable, easy to work with, and genuinely passionate about what he does. I wouldn’t dream of having anyone else play at my family events. Thank you for making Iyla’s special days even more magical.

DJ Blackheat is what I call an exceptional arist. I’ve had the pleasure to listen to mixes of many genres(bashment,hip hop,slow jams etc) and the energy is reciprocated in his live sets that I’ve seen him do. A magician never tells his tricks, but if I must it’s keeping an eye on everyone’s actions. Making sure each song caters to every individuals mood. Excellent timing and a building of suspense throughout the night delivering an amazing night for everyone including the staff and even myself.
