What’s your interior design process?
I begin the design process with a face to face conversation (online or in person) so that I can get a feel for your personality, your design style and how you want your new room to be. I'll use mood boards as starting points to discuss what you do and don't like in terms of interiors, and it's helpful if I can see rooms in your home that you do like. If you've saved any photos of rooms you like, it's great if you can share those too.
After I've met you, I'll work on the design for the room. I'll present this back to you on a mood board with illustrative images, and also a scale drawing of the room for furniture placement. I'll include samples of tiles, paint and wallpaper as applicable. My process concludes with a document which details all the components of my desgin scheme, so that you can purchase what you need to put the room together.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I believe I can cater for any style. It is really important to me that the client's chosen style is reflected in the finished design, so understanding their wants to crucial.
What do you love most about your job?
I am passionate about creative interior designs that use colour, pattern and texture to bring a home alive. I love to transform rooms from drab to fab and create spaces that my clients love to live in.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After designing successfully for friends and family, I decided to set up my own business in interior design.

My design work is focussed on maximising the potential of your home. I love designing and I think that shows in my work. I am honest and straight forward to deal with. I will happily work to your budget, I won't create something you love but can't afford. I will save you hours of online research as I look through bathroom tiles, wallpaper and furniture websites for pleasure! I also keep up to date with new design ideas through books, magazines and social media.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I can provide my services remotely, but this will be new to me. I will need to see the inside of your home, and you yourself so I can gauge your design style.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
None. I already wash my hands regularly and sneeze into a tissue or my elbow.
Interior Design
A room interior design service will be of great benefit to you if:
– You want to refresh a room in your home
– You are carrying out a renovation or extension and you don’t have a plan for how the space will look beyond the building plans
– A room in your home will be used for a different purpose in the near future
The room design service includes an initial meeting to
meet you (in person or online) and get a feel for your interior design style. We will talk through any design or functionality ideas you already have and I will show you some examples of interior design on mood boards to gauge what you do and don't like.
If this meeting is online it will be useful for you to show me other rooms in your home as well. I will also need accurate measurements of the room.
Next, I will go away and develop a detailed design scheme for your room. Approximately two weeks later, I will present this to you on a mood board with a scale drawing of the room. I will bring with me, or post to you, samples of tiles, wallpaper and paint as applicable.
I will source all the elements of the design that I present back to you, saving you lots of online research time. All the components that I use in the design will be included in a document with web links and prices. You will then be able to order these items directly from the various companies I have included in the scheme, and set up the room as per the design.
