This company was suddenly banned by my Wedding Venue just after a month of booking them. No clear reason why they got banned and so therefore it has put me off. No way of getting my deposit back after paying.Instead of fixinh the problem she instead insisted that she is always right. May I remind you that I am your customer not a staff. Rude woman. Everyone needs a Donna!
3 months prior to our wedding the on the day coordinator we had booked informed us they were not longer offering their services, naturally creating unnecessary stress. Little did we know this was a complete blessing in disguise. We reached out to Donna Winning Events and within a day we instantly felt relaxed and even happier with how things were going. Donna was so attentive that it felt like she’d been planning with us from day one.
As with any wedding communication is pivotal, Donna provided us weekly updates via WhatsApp and communicated with all our suppliers weekly from 6 weeks until the wedding day.
The wedding day, wow, due to classic British weather in August our dreams of an outside wedding were well and truly washed away. Donna and her team, Jessica, effortlessly took everything in their stride and made the most magical inside venue for us utilising all the decorations and flowers we had arranged.
Guests were moved around throughout the day and the wedding breakfast room was decorated exactly how we had dreamed.

We needed an on the day wedding coordinator and came accross Donna Winning Events on Hitched.

Donna was quick to respond to my enquiry and we had a video call the same day to talk through what I needed. I had placed all my suppliers but wanted someone to take over the final bits and run the day for us in the same way I would if I wasnt the bride! Donna surpassed all expectations. She knows her job very well and she is very passionate about what she does :)

All comms are via a whatsapp group. I will highlight that you will need to be patient with DWE regarding responses as they do run a lot of events but they always come back (especialy if urgent) or send a placeholder comms. The week before the wedding the comms were excellent. I braindumped so many things last minute and Donna did all of it perfectly, supported by another member of her team on the day (Olivia)!

I had a clear vision and DWE executed it better than I expected. Donna looked after me all day too in a genuine caring way!

Amazing experience, they sourced everything for the decorations and contacted the venue for everything to be delivered and set up for the day. They were really accommodating to all the last minute changes and on the day everything went seamlessly, the reception was beautifully decorated and exactly how we had discussed. The day was so stress free for me and the groom and we thoroughly enjoyed the day with no worries about the set up etc. I would definitely recommend using Donna. Donna and her team were professional, pleasant and easy to work with from the start. They have great ideas if you're unsure or if you just need someone to bounce ideas off and then when it comes to a few weeks before they will just make the process of organising suppliers so much easier. We found the knowledge and relationships with suppliers really helpful when negotiating certain things, with our venue for example, and they just put what you want at the centre of their work. The day itself was so much smoother and easier because they were there and it was easy to enjoy the day knowing that they would keep things ticking along. Hiring Donna for our wedding was undoubtedly the best decision we could have made. We asked her to be our ‘on the day’ wedding co-ordinator to ensure everything ran smoothly, of which it truly did (and more)!

As creatives, we had a lot of DIY and personal items we had crafted for our wedding, along with some very specific playlists and carefully planned timings, all of which we would never have been possible on the day without Donnas incredible organisational skills and creative eye.

From the very beginning, Donna took charge of all the intricate details involving suppliers and the venue, freeing us from any worries or need to chase after anything. She kept us and the suppliers updated regularly with a fantastically organised event sheet, which provided a clear plan of action for the day and continuously put our minds at ease. In addition, Donna shared invaluable tips and advice that enhanced the magic of our wedding, offering insights and ideas we would have never considered on our own.

On the actual wedding day, Donna truly was a superhero. Despite a few hiccups with the venue the day before, Donna quickly intervened and flawlessly restored everything to perfection. If any mishaps occurred during the day (as they often do at weddings), we were blissfully unaware because Donna had everything under control, ensuring that everything was executed perfectly. Not only did she attend to our needs as the bride and groom, but she also looked after our friends and family, ensuring they were in the right places at the right times and putting everyone at ease.
Everything seamlessly fell into place, happening precisely on time without us even noticing. Donna's friendly and attentive nature made her feel like a good friend and guest at our wedding rather than just a coordinator. She blended in seamlessly with the wedding party, and everyone loved her presence.

An extremely friendly, approachable team with amazing communication throughout the process. Professional doesn't even cover it! They worked quickly and efficiently even with my time constraints. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday party for my daughter and the balloons/tableware were amazing! Donna helped me with ideas on what to do with the space, within my budget and she took care of all the planning for the day. We're very grateful to Donna for her services. Our weekly calls meant that we had regular updates on suppliers responses and our whatsapp group kept communication flowing throughout the week. We were so grateful for her flexibility and she went above and beyond on the wedding day to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. We were grateful for her idea contributions and her ability to communicate well with all the various companies/suppliers that were needed for the day. We were also extremely grateful for her ability to remain chirpy and smiley and calm throughout which meant it made what could have been a very exhausting process, pleasant for us both. Donna is a phenomenal event planner. She is experienced, creative and effortlessly talented. She made our mums surprise 50th birthday party absolutely perfect. Donna and Dominique took all the pressure off of my sister and I on the day which allowed us to enjoy every precious moment with our mum. Donna was extremely helpful in finding an excellent location for our 25th wedding anniversary party. She organised everything we needed and more and was very professional and supportive. She offered first class suppliers for the stationery, signage and a beautifully decorated and delicious cake for the event and everything was delivered in good time. She liaised effectively with the restaurant to deliver the menus and drinks we had requested. She also arrived early on the day to ensure everything was set up correctly. She ensured our guests received their welcome drinks on arrival and that everyone was served with food and drinks throughout the party quickly and efficiently. The themed signage for the event and dressing the room with beautiful vases, flowers and napkins on a summery, silver theme made a great impression on our guests. Her fees were extremely reasonable considering all the hours and effort she put into the event and I would highly recommend her as a conscientious, thoughtful, kind and fun person to work alongside. Donna took on the organisation of my wife’s 40th birthday party, at the point where I kept hitting dead ends. She managed to find the most incredible venue - perfect in every way and exactly on brief. She thought of every detail and provided tons of support and advice when it came to making decisions.
