We had a great 1-2-1 consultation with Lindsey with our 11 week old Springer Spaniel puppy. We wanted tips on how to keep such an energetic breed occupied and stimulated, and also the key training tips we would need to get us set up. Lindsey is very friendly and came to meet us and our pup in our home environment which was really helpful. She provided information and resources for us to keep, and even brought along some bits for our pup! We found the session incredibly useful and have since had a training walk with Lindsey which has been great for teaching our puppy social skills and recall. I had a fantastic, bite-sized 1-2-1 session with Lindsey and her lovely little terrier, as my dog can be pretty reactive with other dogs and rather boisterous all round! I wanted to practice ways to improve his interactions with other dogs and avoid confrontations/barking. Lindsey was really calm, friendly and easy to work with, while showing me how to take control of the situation and work on my behaviour as an owner, as much as my dog’s issues. She showed me some ways I probably wasn’t doing the best for my dog but without any judgement. I learnt some very simple but effective ways to interrupt unwanted behaviour (such as excessive barking or overly-rambunctious play) and was reminded about the importance of consistency with this training; by the end of a half hour walk my dog and hers were happily trotting along next to each other, quietly! It’s helped a huge amount already and my dog’s barking at other dogs in the street etc is much more manageable now. Definitely recommend! More...

Meeting new people and their dogs and working together to empower people to understand how to meet their dogs needs - building strong bonds for happy times and stress free lives.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had my own dog and loved learning and training him. This led me to complete professional training and transfer my a skills and knowledge from being a Headteacher for students with social and emotional to working with puppies and dogs.
Why should our clients choose you?
I will work with pup parents to build their knowledge and understand of how to meet their dogs needs. Whether its a new puppy or a stressed out dog. Training is just one part of the lifestyle picture. You will learn to be a calm and confident dog leader, how to communicate better with your dog and create the environment and lifestyle needed to create your dogtail dream.
